In June my son was delivered a month early and with a birth defect. He barely survived the only surgery that would save his life and is now 5 months and just perfect. As I read through your blog(which I found on Latter Day Keepsakes) I saw the pictures of you and your family at Primary Childrens Hospital. It made my stomache clench and my eyes filled with tears as memories came back from when we were there. I couldn't help but glance at my baby boy, and kneel down in prayer to thank my Heavenly Father for our countless blessings, and for strong people like you. I couldn't help but be reminded of Job and how he praised the Lord still after losing everything. As a woman in Zion who is far from perfect, I want to thank you again for sharing your story and for building my testimony of God's work. It reminded me to not forget what the Lord did when he spared my son's life. Sometimes I get wrapped up in the fact that he seems so "normal" I forget what miracle was granted to me. Thank You and may you have a very wonderful holiday season.
Samantha Stokes
Ogden, UtahStokes Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701582387016837102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2566944491271358491.post-58214606789943175872008-11-15T18:52:00.000-08:002008-11-15T18:52:00.000-08:00What a sweet moment to remember. What a sweet moment to remember.cassihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15606688241639049271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2566944491271358491.post-2894633909723435162008-11-07T10:32:00.000-08:002008-11-07T10:32:00.000-08:00he is right, and you're right it is interesting to...he is right, and you're right it is interesting to be a part of our Heavenly Father's giving and taking. Life is such an interesting and hard learning process. It is truly a beautiful Irony.
