Dear Sweet Owen,Today you are one year old! I just can't believe how the time has flown! You have been such a wonderful and amazing addition to our family. I am so grateful you were sent to be with us. Your sweet and loving personality makes my crazy and hectic days calm. At night when I sit and rock you - you cuddle up onto my chest and we could spend hours there. You bring sanity back to me and help me find the quiet moments in the day.
You are a sensitive boy. It seems that your feelings get hurt easily and that you are aware of how others around you feel. You can be gentle and soft - but you can also hold your own in a cat fight with your spunky older brother.
Owen, you have brought a new side of motherhood to my life. All three of my boys have taught me something about being a mother. You have taught me to slow down, calm down and appreciate the moments we have together.
We all love you so much. Especially your older brother Jack. He always wants to make sure you are taken care of and you love him for that.
You are a sweet and good boy, Owen. stay that way.
