I am never quite sure what to do with myself on Gavin's birthday.
Do I spend the day at the cemetery?
Do I do my normal routine?
I just never really know what to do.
So this is what we did on Gavin's birthday-day.
We went to get doughnuts . . .
And then we built Jack's version of a fort . . .
And spent the day with these two kiddos . . .
. . . cause I am pretty sure that is what a four year old would want to do on his birthday.

Sounds like a perfect way to spend his day.
I agree. Donuts and forts go a long way with kids! (Donuts still go a long way for me. They just go around my waist a bit more these days!)
