A three year old boy from the Sunbeam class walks into Primary a little late and announces with his arms waving in the air to the other 40 children in the room, "HELLO EVERBODY! I'M BACK!"
That is why I love primary - oh, the laughs we get and the stories we could all tell!

Hey Lindsay,
I've been thinking about you for the past couple days and knowing that little Gavin's 1st birthday would be next month. I found this poem online and thought you might appreciate it. (if you haven't heard it before?)
The Cord
We are connected,
My child and I, by
An invisible cord
Not seen by the eye.
It's not like the cord
That connects us 'til birth
This cord can't been seen
By any on Earth.
This cord does it's work
Right from the start.
It binds us together
Attached to my heart.
I know that it's there
Though no one can see
The invisible cord
From my child to me.
The strength of this cord
Is hard to describe.
It can't be destroyed
It can't be denied.
It's stronger than any cord
Man could create
It withstands the test
Can hold any weight.
And though you are gone,
Though you're not here with me,
The cord is still there
But no one can see.
It pulls at my heart
I am bruised...I am sore,
But this cord is my lifeline
As never before.
I am thankful that God
Connects us this way
A mother and child
Death can't take it away!

Sorry I don't have your email or I'd have sent it that way.
You're a great mom and a great example of faith.
Have a good day today!

Thank you for sending me that poem. It was beautiful. I love it.
Thank you for remembering our family and our little Gavin's birthday.
Love,
Lindsay
I love the things little kids say.. We have this neighbor kid who tells us the most hilarious things, and I don't dare tell his mom because she would DIE! They are always there to make ya laugh.
Your primary story made me laugh so hard. Kids have such a way of keeping us young at heart!
For such a wild thing, Reese sure is cute. :)
